A litte about Riverwood Flies, Dubbing and More......

Products made for people who fish, by people who fish!
It's more than just a marketing slogan, it's what we are all about. We strive to produce quality products that appeal to the fish first, the fisherperson second.
The flies and jigs are made using the finest of materials and tried and true tying methods and techniques. These are not - superstore fly bin, mass produced by
some child labor factory in a third world country - flies and jigs. These are the flies and jigs that we ourselves fish with. We know what it's like when the hatch is
on and we search through the box for the perfect match at dusk, only to discover that the hook eye is not cleared of head cement! We pay attention to the details. We care
about the quality of our work, not the quantity we produce.
There is one down-side to all of that. We do not produce a large inventory. In some cases, your fly or jig order may be "tied on demand". We will do everything we can
to process your order as quickly as possible. In most cases, your flies or jigs will be on the way to you in 2-3 business days.
The same attention to detail goes into the production of our dubbing, hair and fur products for you folks that prefer to tie your own. We use the materials we produce
in our own flies and jigs. So maybe we're "control freaks", but maintaining some control over the materials you use and sell isn't such a bad thing, is it? The same is
true with the product line from the Tomsu's. Their foam materials and Foam Cutter tools are top of the line and made with the Fly Tier in mind.
When it comes to custom rods and landing nets, we deviate from our "appeal to fish first, fisherperson second" attitude. We don't think the fish care one bit about what a rod or net
looks like - but the fisherperson does! The rods built by Brett and nets crafted by Dave are ALL about the fisherperson! They hand craft your rod or net to your specifications
to ensure that when you hit the water, you will feel confident and comfortable with your selection, knowing you designed it to fit your needs.
The Rose Creek Angler's fly boxes that we carry are not only designed well and are affordable, but they are also manufactured by some fine folks that really care about our
environment. Their manufactuing process has minimal impact on the local ecology. That's pretty cool!
