100% Rabbit Dubbing Rabbit fur is one of the most versatile dubbing products available. It's very soft and easy to work with. It takes and holds color very well. It can be used for most any type of fly - dry, nymph, steelhead/salmon and others. If your pattern calls for just about any type of body material, rabbit will make an acceptable substitute. In most instances, the process begins with domesticly raised, clean white rabbit hides. Some are dyed using a very controlled, stable process to ensure even color, while others are dyed using a more "hap hazard" approach (purposefully) to get varying color tones and hues.
